First Creek Winery

First Creek Winery is a family owned and operated winery based in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia’s oldest wine producing region. In 2015, First Creek was awarded a remarkable 11 Trophies and 26 Gold Medals, across five wine shows, for their Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz wines. Liz Silkman is regarded by her peers to be one of Australia’s leading winemakers.

Challenge

First Creek Winery is a 20 year old winery in the heart of the Hunter Valley is NSW. The floor coatings were significantly degraded and had unattractive exposed aggregate, which harbored dirt and bacteria and was difficult to clean.

Solution

Roxset SE 5-6mm was chosen by the Silkman Family to provide a non-slip seamless coating to cover some 600sqm of flooring to their winery. The key areas for the upgrade were the Glass Unloading Room, Tank Farm in Main Winery and Tank Farm in Filling Room & Bottling Room. The colour chosen was Koala Grey embedded with Fine Sand.

We were delighted with the result of our floor coating from Roxset, it has not only significantly improved the visual impact of our winery but proved a safe clean environment for staff and customers.
