A Perfect Formula for Chiko Roll

Since its first appearance at the Wagga Wagga Show in 1951, the CHIKO Roll has become an Aussie favourite, providing a quick and tasty snack for generations of Australians. Today CHIKO rolls are produced in Bathurst, NSW, by Simplot Australia, and are made from a unique robotic machine that creates the pastry and the filling of fresh vegetables and meat at exactly the same time. Roxset has applied food safe floring throughout the faclity.

ROXSET are proud to have provided services to the Bathurst factory for close to 20years. As part of the ongoing maintenance program of its 20,000sqm factory ROXSET have laid up to approx 7,000sqm of floor. Working in close association with John Grose the chief engineer, ROXSET tailored a product to meet the demands of the harsh factory conditions. ROXSET SE provides, superior thermal shock capacity ranging from -40 oC to +105oC and high chemical and abrasion resistance. The ROXSET coating provides a seamless barrier with inbuilt HACCP formulation to give the highest level of bacteria protection and up to R13 slip rating.

ROXSET SE is available in smooth or textured finishes, it is quick curing to accommodate 24×7 processing which is ideal for all food manufacturing environments. Typical environments which suit this product include the production, storage and cold room areas and it is particularly effective for wet areas. ROXSET SE is laid as a troweled 4-6mm finish for maximum long-life performance.
